01 FROM NIGHT TO MORNING
A little less wondering. A little more understanding.
Choose when you need to be up. Start your night on iPhone, with Apple Watch if you wear one.
Sound and motion help track your sleep. Review snoring and saved sound clips in the morning.
The smart alarm looks for lighter sleep in your window. With Apple Watch, the wake-up starts at your wrist.
02 THE WRIST-FIRST WAKE-UP
A tap comes first. The wake-up builds only if you need it.
Wear Apple Watch to bed for gentle taps on your wrist. If you do not respond, a Watch tune follows, then iPhone sound joins the wake-up.
A gentler start is the aim. Sound may still be needed. Keep your devices charged and follow the in-app setup checks.
How the wake-up worksInside your window, the wake-up begins with gentle taps on Apple Watch.
03 THE MORNING REPORT
Stages. Sounds. The patterns that become clearer over time.
Your night begins. Sound and motion help build a picture of your sleep.
An interactive illustration. Phone-only stages are estimates. Actual nights vary.
Your sleep timeline and sound events, together. Open saved clips to hear what happened.
Follow trends and collect medals. Optional Plus adds deeper ways to explore your nights.
Useful estimates, explained plainly. See the thinking behind Gildnight.
YOUR NIGHT. YOUR BUSINESS.
Your recordings and reports are processed and stored on your iPhone. You choose what to share or export, and whether to connect Apple Health.
Optional direct pairing can share sound timelines between two iPhones. Audio stays on its recording device. Sleep records and clips are excluded from automatic device backups. File exports are yours to manage.

05 A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
No. Your iPhone works on its own, using sound and movement. Phone-only sleep stages are marked as estimates. Apple Watch adds wrist movement and available sleep readings from Apple Health, plus the wrist-first wake-up.
Yes. Overnight tracking, the morning report, saved sound clips and the smart alarm—including Watch wake-up—are part of the free app.
The core app stays free. Plus features close unless you choose the one-time purchase. No automatic purchase. No subscription.
Gildnight has no cloud sync or Gildnight account. Your nights stay on your iPhone. You can choose Apple Health, share files yourself or pair directly with another iPhone. The Privacy Policy explains those choices.
No alarm can promise that. Watch first starts on your wrist, then adds a rising Watch tune. Your iPhone joins if you have not stopped the wake-up. No Watch ready? Your iPhone wakes you on its own.
With Alarms permission, the full alarm uses the iPhone’s own alarm system and can ring with the app closed, silent mode on or a Focus active. Keep your iPhone charged and try Test the wake-up in the app.
Gildnight requires an iPhone with iOS 26 or later. The optional Watch app requires Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later. Available readings depend on your device and permissions.
Gildnight is planned for the App Store in Australia and New Zealand in January 2027. Join the launch list for an email when it is ready.
